Finally own a CL63!!!!
I found this while browsing cars.com on Monday. I flew out to Baltimore, MD on Tuesday, and arrived back here in Colorado at 6:30 this evening. A bit of a boring drive, except for Nebraska and Wyoming where I was rarely doing below 120mph. I managed to sneak past the speed limiter down a hill and hit 157mph. Fun car. Just about to hit 100k miles, but it's in immaculate condition. Absolutely amazing. A little curb rash on the wheels, a tumbleweed broke one of the fog lights (hit it at just over 130 in a pretty nasty storm), needs the clear bra removed (just not a fan), and an oil change is due as of 700 miles ago.
Oh, and did I mention how much I love distronic? There is no reason to own one of these without it. In fact, it should just come standard. The distronic plus is amazing. Blows the distronic in my ex W220 S600 out of the water.
Pretty dirty after I got home. Time for a good scrub tomorrow.

Thanks all! I've had a blast with the car so far. Definitely not the fastest car I've owned, but it's adequate. Finally had a tire blow on me, so I ordered winter tires for it (Continental DWS's if I remember right).
As far as mods, I may do an ECU tune, as it's really annoying having a 155 limiter in this car. 155 is a breeze in this thing. Pulls nicely all the way there. I'm guessing it would keep going to 170-180 (ish) without the limiter. Other than that, I like it so much that I'll be looking for a lower mileage W216 CL65 to replace it next spring--same colors with distronic).
Finally removed the ugly clear bra!!!!!
Apparently $600 is what it takes to fill up the trunk.
Went on vacation to Germany a few weeks ago and rented this 2014 E63 S AMG wagon. Fun car, but I like my CL much, much(!!) better. The 991 was the rental I had on the Nurburgring. Talk about a rocket ship. What a ride. Awesome, awesome car. Really had too much power for the track, but it was fun to hit almost 300kph (180mph) on the main straight on the private day.
They say it's a rear engined car, but I'm not quite sure... I couldn't find it, can you?
Oh, and I also took a nice tour of the AMG plant. Cool place, nice guide.

Looks good. I purchased a cl63 today too! I have a question - are you able to adjust the interior rearview mirror? Mine seems unwilling to move by hand. I wonder if it's electronic perhaps and I'm missing a trick? Many thanks.
