Steps for replacing ESP module on CL 600

I was wondering if anyone has posted or can post instructions (steps) for replacing the ESP module for 2003 CL 600. I had the car diagnosed and ESP is throwing an error "cannot execute torque request". Car runs but ESP acts up from time to time and I ordered another one and would like to replace it myself - it looks like plug & play module so it is worth a try.

Thank you,

S.

The module is located in the fuse box on the driver's side towards the windshield. There are locks on each side of the box you slide towards you and it unlocks the cover. The ESP module is the one on the inside (the outer one is the ABC module).

ESP

thank you. It turns out, there was some corrosion on the connector of the ESP module. When I look closer at that fuse box, it is not much of a protection for such a critical component such as ESP (it is open on one side, towards the windshield and in that corner one can find a "nest" of leaves blown in).

Also, your "ABC Delete" thread is awe-inspiring .
