Happy day! Got my CL65!

Not to get off track, but I was always led to believe the sampling rate was much slower than a hardwired setup like zetronix. I guess something is better than nothing and can give a good idea of what's going on .

I had a hardwired setup before and the sampling rate is the same with Bluetooth, its fast enough to show accurate boost gauge when you dont put too much different data on one screen. But its also fun to monitor IATs and timing and error codes from time to time

A few different scenarios may play out: OP advised by his attorney to stop posting in the thread, shop is giving huge discount, or shop may have threatened/asked OP to stop posting in the thread. The only way we will know for sure is if the OP or shop give is their version.
Either way, I feel the Mbworld family hopes you get it back soon and they figure out the ECU/TCU to make it work. If they do, they will have a line out the door. If not, they should be shown the door.

So here is the current update. Last week Monday I was told the car would be out for final dyno testing within a day or two and then be detailed and sent out. I called today to see if it would be an afternoon delivery for today or what. Was told car is still waiting to go to the dyno. Many many calls latter, since I was told I would get a call right back, and nobody answers. Get a text saying the car is being worked on. WTF is it being worked on? Thought it was ready for the dyno? Also thought I would have the car back 4 months ago so that's what I get for thinking.
Turning it over to my lawyer in the morning.

Laser,
We all feel for you. You need to just get your car in what ever state it's in. You've exercised so much patience with them that its unbelievable, all the while you send them a boat load of cash and they never have even been proactive in calling you let alone returning your calls.
I really meant when I said a few months ago it would be a Christmas miracle if you had the car back by now. But now even if you get your lawyer involved they'll tell you its the Holidays, people are sick, someone died, snow storm, winter solstice, unusual solar flares causing there temporary blindness due to the aurora, etc are just a few of there endless excuses. Don't buy into waiting any longer on empty promises.
Sorry for all your issues on this, but enough is enough. I mean by now the deprecation on your car as mine has fallen 15k+ just sitting.

Car is done. Being cleaned today. Transport company picks it up tomorrow and I should have it Sat or Sun.
Dyno numbers are not finalized yet. Too cold and after 800rwhp it just spins them so I will play with it when it gets here and wait till spring to throw it on the dyno and see where we are really at and if any changes have to be made.
I have to say Marcin at Speedriven has been really nice and helpful when I could get ahold of him. Hes ALWAYS working on something so its not always easy to get ahold of him but he seems like a good dude and said he will fly down in the spring for the dyno and make any tuning changes if the car needs it. As it sits everything is doing what it should but cant really test WOT shifting cause summer tires in winter weather and that power just is nothing but wheel spin. We should have a warm weekend here (well warmish) so I should be able to MAYBE get some WOT runs to make sure it continues to shift properly on the 2-3 3-4 shifts. Don't wanna do a WOT 4-5 shift cause that WAY past go to jail speeds. lol

Look forward to the update when you get the car.
I recommend these steps for anyone having work done to their cars from a non A list tuner:
1. Get an established timeline of work.
2. Get promised power gains in writing.
3. Dyno tests will also be done at an independent dyno to confirm results.
4. Penalties for not meeting work timeline or power claims.
5. Damage to car/engine will be paid by shop doing the work.
6. Get proof of insurance document from shop. Don't be a test dummy!
7. Final payment to be withheld until independent test/s confirm power gains and work done to your satisfaction.
I know the suggestions are a stretch and not needed from all tuners but, when you are dropping $40k+ on modifications, you have got to cover yourself. Just sucks that you had to go through all of this. Hope it was worthwhile after you get your car back.

Was not aware that you couldn't dyno vehicles in a heated garage during the winter since the summer tires break loose on a dyno? Wasn't aware of any outdoor dynos here in Chicago either

I know that's a total joke of an excuse. As if every shop north of Virginia can't tune or dyno cars in the winter, and they couldn't properly tune the car because it broke free after 800hp. More like the car runs, runs like ****, they know it, and are sending it back putting it off till spring. No dyno sheets?
