I feel the trany rocking on 1/4 mile
Hello all!
I have recently gained a bit more horsepower after adding the 175mm crank pulley and getting a reflash from eurocharged.
Besides this I just have k&ns and a seperated intercooler res.
Last nightI took her tothe track for about the 5th time, and for the first time I stated to feel something that I hadn't noticed before. I had my tires warmed up (285/35/19) . When I would take off I could feel the transmission gear shift lifting up slightly, smoothly as it shifts gears it drops, also smoothly.
Is this a problem that occurs regularly with increased horsepower and if so what Is the best solution?
I'm going to check mounts today if they are accessable.
Bracket races are tonight, not sure if I'll make it.
I'm down to 13.006 seconds now, and ive only got 22,000$ into the whole thing with 70k miles on the body and about 40k on the engine ( replaced under warranty by MB dealership)
My next mods will be 3000rpm stall converter, quaife LSD, and a tcu tune from eurocharged. Also 305/35/19s on her by the end of next week
Thanks
Kenny

That would be a somewhat easy fix, and probably would've been done/upgraded as I replaced the converter.
That's cool that your in AK matt! I just realized that.
We were stationed at Elmendorf for 8 years, my dad built his 350 S10 at one of his buddies shops out inow Wasilla, we used to go to the drag strip out there in the valley every chance we got!
If I ever find a job oil related there you can bet I'll be back.. lol
