Akebono Euro Ceramic Pads Part #AKEUR853
$61.49 Autopartswarehouse, free shipping.
This set comes from Akebono with two packets of anti-squeak, and two wear sensors. Don't buy it on ebay. The ebay vendors pull out the wear sensors, and sell them separately for a few extra bucks.
Caliper bolts and torque value: 18mm / 115Nm
Sensor connector torx bolt: T40

Nice photos! I always took off the plastic cap rather than than the 18mm bolts in pic #4 bolts and springs. This allows you to remove the caliper spring to release the brakes from the rotor.
Apparently both work !

'99 CLK 320 Cabriolet
Excellent. I just followed this tonight. Though I must admit I was a bit behind the 30 minute time I ordered Bosch Quietcast from Autohausaz, Bosch has a rebate running now. On my '99 the caliber bolts were 19mm and remember to crank the wheels around on either side to give you better access to the bolts in the back. Thanks for the write up!

99CLK320,
if you want to jt you can remove the MAF sensor from the housing and "try" to clean it. All you need is a quarter inch drive saftey torques socket to remove it from the housing. I tried to clean the sensor once but it didn't work. You can buy the sensor from autohausaz.com and its cheaper than buying the entire unit. Call them because you can't find the sensor online at their site but they do have it. Good luck.
