2005 CLK55 COUPE
Spark Plugs
Hi all,
I have a 02 CLK55 and normally I buy the spark plugs from the dealer and wanted to see what everyone on this site gets their spark plugs from. Are the OEM Bosh, NGK the same as the ones from the MB dealer?
Any input would be much appreciate.

The dealer plugs are part number 004-159-19-03-26. Those are Bosch FR8DPP33 spark plugs. Like you, I bought my first set from my local dealer. I bought my last set from AutohausAZ

99CLK320,
Are the Bosch FR8DPP33 plugs the same for the 320? And, I know "they say" plugs are good for 100k however I'm looking at only 45K of mostly city driving on my 99 so that makes it 17 years old. The car is driven regularly. I know how you are a stickler for maintenance Marcus..........{;o)

Hey David, it's the same plug.
The service interval is 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. If you're saying you have the original plugs still in the car, I hope they come out without any problems.

Good looking car. 2000 GTV, right? I'm guessing a '73 or '74 model.
I still have the CLK. It's been sitting in long term parking at LAX since October while I enjoy an unseasonably warm fall in western Michigan. I've been giving serious consideration to an E coupe, but every time I see the rear quarter panels I remind myself to be patient. Besides, the next gen E interior may make the current E coupe dash and console layout look very dated. The new generation E will arrive pretty soon.
