Replacing brake pads

I have 2002 CLK430 and I am pretty sure that I need front pads, the rotors feel smooth. I have changed pads before on american cars with no problems but I was wondering if this is a little different. Anything that I need to look out for?

I've done 5 or 6 brake jobs on the CLK. There's a thread here somewhere that shows where the caps are that cover the caliper bolts. After finding those, removing them and the covers, the pads will come off.

You may want to mic the rotors. Mine are out of spec every other brake job. Replacement rotors are inexpensive.
