CLK 320 brakes issue

The brakes on my w208 320 cabrio engage only after pressing the pedal down about 3/4 to 1". Pumping raises the height a bit. The brake fluid level in the reservoir remains full -- doesn't seem to be leaking.

Is the problem a MC issue or bleeding?

Thanks!

Sounds pretty normal to me. My '01 55 is about the same.

CLK BRAKES

if your pads are well worn your brake pedal will travel more even though the brake fluid level is at the max level, 1" travel on your pedal means there nothing wrong with your brakes at all, that's what mine do with new pads & discs fitted 200 miles ago !!!!.

Thanks! I guess I just need to get used to it. This is a 2002 car with only ~11K that I'm sorting thru.
