Key fob in washer and dryer
Not sure if its posted or not but I thought I would share it with you guys !
This evening was going bad until I saved my *** time. So I washed my clothes and then I dried them up and I left my Benz key in the pocket ( from washer to dryer lol). Sure enough, my key would not work nor turn my Benz on ! I googled pretty quick and basically said: I need new key from the dealer and it got toasted ! As stubborn as I am, I did not listen and opened my key up ! The chips looked like a motherboard , so I cleaned it with alcohol very good and dried it up and BAMMMMM, worked ! Saved my *** $ 200 for new key and programming it..
Tools: alcohol, Q-tips, paperclip ( I bent it into J hook to pull my chip), and flathead screwdriver. LIFE IS GOOD NOW

ahh I never would do this unless my key like yours was not working !!!! but the outside case is cracking bad on both keys, so I go to the main dealer (jesus Christ) they wanted hear in the uk £250 each that's £500 for the two. where do there get there prices from !!!!!

Mine was cracked too.
Ordered 2 cases from ebay and moved the key , chip and the cover where the key goes on the new case ! = brand new key lol
Ps: I always thought the rice thing was a joke !
When I opened up my remote , it was filled with water

thanks for that I just do what you did, use a paper clip to fish out the chip and bobs your uncle I should be ok.
