My transmission woes
#2
Did the problems begin after the transmission service? If so where was it done at?
Likely the wrong fluid used if that is the case.
So to me it looks like some slippage in the first photo? Lots of rpm changes and no vehicle speed response to it???
Last photo sounds like a rubbing noise inside or something. I'd be checking for metal in the transmission pan. Hmm
just thought of something else that the noise could be is cavitation due to a low fluid level, maybe someone did not add enough
fluid either by ignorance or by plan. So first check that there is enough fluid in the transmission.

You've checked both flex disks and there are no cracks, right?
BTW, if you have an issue with the torque converter, and the dealer cleared the code, the code will probably come back. About then you may want to consider giving Sun Valley a call.
