oh wait that is made for preface lifts so it has to be a fit.

We might be able to fit the w203 face lifts ones.

The user interface is simply amazing on it from the pictures, plus you have the ability to customize (windows platform).

Still hoping that the DVN-MBC for the w203 can work with the w209. There still has been no response yet i assume?

PS: Updated the original thread with reference to two links where on supplier provides that it is compatible and the corp website says no mention for the w209.

Email from JeffB.
Regarding the Pre-facelift MC2000

I heard back from Dynavin. They expect the MC2000 to be available around the end of the month. They will sell for $649. I am going to start a contact list for this model, ill add your name to it, but feel free to bug me about it every week or two until the units start shipping, ill be happy to help you get your hands on one once they are available.

That was for just the HVAc. I think the upper controls ran me $80 off eBay. Do you have the pre-facelift controls now?

Yes thats great, wondering on the hacking options like changing some of the UI etc. But then comes to mind the constant blue screen of death and reboots that come with windows...

Now this got me worried, from this video of the DVN-MBE it looks like a very hacked up interface. You can see flashes of windows CE in the background while changing options, window white outlines flashing, etc. Not something I would want to have on the entertainment system in a Mercedes.

Now watching a few other videos on youtube I did see more polished versions of the interface with no sign of windows desktop or strange outline flashes and with nice transitions between option screens. Perhaps the first video was of an earlier version of the interface and they polished it up.

This is something I would definitely want clarified before making any purchase.

i do have the pre-facelift model atm. if the pre-facelift dynavin comes out first than i might just jump on that unless i can find all of the facelift items readily available.

Another huge question is, does this interface with the bose-crap* so we can keep the bose-crap amp and 2ohm speakers. Otherwise you need to add a costly replacement of the amp, speakers and the head unit to amp wires.

* not that replacing all of it would not be a good idea sound wise

Quick question about the GPS: What maps are included? I have a prefecelift and would love this upgrade but I need Euro maps? It's not mentioned on their site...
