Dynavin Navigation for W209

Ive been reading up on old thread here about the navigation unit Dynavin. Seems like there was some good feedback but the thread died down.

Anyone had experience with this product http://www.dynavin.com/products/product_dnv_mbc.php

Im thinking of purchasing but im attempting to find a trusted sources in the US. Any feedback would be appreciated

According to Dynavin, it fits w203 only but as far as i can tell, w203 and w209 have the same head unit but what about connectors?

I've decided to edit the thread to reference in the pictures and the current standing question:

Dynavin Navigation for W209-pbvy3.jpg
Dynavin Navigation for W209-cyvmh.jpg

According to the UK store item, it is compatible. However inside their product catalog of the original distributor it is not:

UK Store: http://www.dynavin.co.uk/product_dnv_mbc.php
Corporate (Original): http://www.dynavin.com/products/product_dnv_mbc.php

The question here is:
Will the DVN-MBC be compatible with the W209?

I called the Author of the BMW Dynavin FAQ. "JeffB" wrote it as a customer now he is a distributor. He mentioned someone else with a preface face-lift CLK was interested in an order as well.

He will email an update after he gets a reply from Dynavin.

Jeff is looking up the info for a

If the price is right would be intersted in a Dynavin head unit as well. they do look great and have a lot of features.
Just need to confirm they will actually work on a w209 though...

I actually have the new dash just like on the thread here https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...-please-2.html not the preface lift model.

From what im reading and seeing the specs for, its a direct fit. The only issue im worried about is the connectors. W203 and W209 are almost two identical cars so i would imagine the electric would be the same connector wise.

If you send me your VIN. I could check the part number on your radio and run the against the radios for the 203s to see if they share the same part number.

I can tell you that the facelift hvac and upper controls I'm switching to both start with 203 in the part number.

i think pre facelift radios have the same connection. i think my connector that i bought to regain steeringwheel controls were the same ones that the w203 guys bought.

JeffB said they should be plug and play. Even more then the BMW, as they ship with all the proper connectors.

I would definely jump on the group buy if somebody can have 100% answer that the connectors will match from w203 to w209 for facelifted models. I have an 06 clk, the sizing is spot on but once again my main pullbac is the connectors.

mmm i think the facelift models have different connectors from the prefacelift. do they fit the facelifted w203? if so then yes

EDIT: so i looked back at the info saved from my audio stuff. the pre facelift cars have an ISO connector. and the facelift cars have a FAKRA connector. check with jeff to see if those are the connectors provided, if so your all good i think

I would be very interested as well for my prefacelift 2003 CLK assuming it would fit. Maybe we can collect a few buyers and get some savings.

So the unit for the facelift models should have a FAKRA connector. Hopefully the member who is keeping in touching with a supplier directly can do some further research and establish a group buy. I will edit my thread with a list once we have a 100% confirmation on this info. Looking forward to this

I have looked into switching the pre-facelift radio with the facelift and it's not a plug and play switch.

Yes that im definitely aware of. The situation will be quiet a pain in the *** transferring the old unit into a new console. Im just praying that the w203 unit i posted above has the same connector.
