just did transmission oil change..........
so i just got 250.000 km. i did transmision oil change which includes 5 litre oil ,new socket ,new gasket seal and new filter.
i also did engine oil change and filter i inserted 8 minus sth litre and now the engine and the transmision work like magic.
i cleaned the k&n air filters now it breathes very well.
so at 250 000 km the clk holds up like new mechanical talking which is kinda weird to be honest i expected some kind of part damage etc. we didnt flush all the trans oil cause it wasnt very bad condition.
one litle thing though extra was 100 euro labour and 60 parts for gasket valve sealant change,
i used original benz gasket seals and very high performance glue for the smaller gasket above them.
here is a picture of the inside. engineer says it looks like new no wear at all. i think it looks like it due to cleaner burning of lpg fuel. i run it on lpg which makes much more clean burning.
benz approved once more its solid performance.

I have 95,000 miles on my car (153,000 km). I've had the car since 83,000 miles (133,000 km) and haven't touched the tranny fluid. I'm assuming the previous owners haven't either. Should I be worried about my transmission? I have the 7 speed.

I would change it. The service manual calls for a one-time change every 60K kms, but when I looked at mine, it was so dirty, I have decided to change every 60K kms.

I changed the transmission fluid on mine after it was contaminated with coolant from the valeo radiator. The car had 105,000 Kms.
Having seen the condition of the fluid at the time, I am going with Rudeney's advice and will be changing it every 60K Kms along with the filter of course.

I had my transmission service done by the dealer this past November, 2014 (100,000 miles) it may have cost me $400 but I am glad I did. The dealer told me the fluid was very dirty and recommended shorter service intervals which I will keep in mind. The dealer told me that the tranny fluid system is sealed and it really should be serviced by a dealer. Does this mean that only a dealer can check the fluid level? I know I can't. I looked for a dipstick and couldn't find one.

The 722.6 5-speed transmission (CK320 and CLK500 through MY2004) is fairly easy to DIY as you can check the level and fill from the top via the dip tube. Sicne a dipstick is used for the level check, the operating temperature is not critical as you just need to check the proper marks ont he stick according to a range of fluid temps.
The 722.9 7-speed is more difficult to DIY. There is no dip tube. Fill and level are checked via the drain plug, and this has to be done with the vehicle safely lifted and the engine running. Also, the temperature is critical - the "overflow" method of setting the fluid level is only valid a single temperature.
Neither transmission requires the dealer to change the fluid as long as you have the proper equipment and expertise.

How much should this whole transmission fluid and filter change cost me? I'm gonna call the dealer soon and want to get a ball park figure of what the prices should be.

Make sure they drain the torque converter. It's possible that yours won't have a drain (some very early 722.9's did not), but tell them you want the mechanic to rotate the engine and verify - don't just "assume" it has no drain as many do
