The W207 E-Class top is exactly the same as the W209. In fact, that video is from the Star Finder utility within SDS/Xentry. It is under the W209 section, but mentions that it uses a W207 for the example. Note that your owner's manual also has a setp-by-step guide for this.
If you want to lower the top instead of raise it, the steps are the same until you get the rear cover open, then just reverse the steps for folding the soft top into the trunk instead of pulling it out.

So you can't pull the locking knob out far enough to rotate it? Or you are saying that you've done that and you still can't lift the cover or top manually? There are two of those locking knobs - one on each side. Make sure you operate both of them (I am not sure the video is clear on that).

Hi guys I keep trying but the gray **** will not turn.It is something to do with the nut for the alen key .there is no other nut there for me to turn,so I must be turning the right nut,my nut is silver gray not brass as in the video of Rodney showed.THANK YOU GUYS.

The Allen nut has nothing to do with being able to turn the release knobs. It does not matter what order you do that in. If the knobs won't turn, something else is wrong.

James, I added arrow to your photo. The yellow arrow points at the valve that is to be opened on the pump by rotating counter-clockwise one full turn. The green arrow points at the locking knob that needs to be pulled out and rotated 1/4 turn so that it stays pulled out. There another knob just like it on the right side that also must be rotated the same way. These knobs can be a bit tight to pull out, so use two hands. They should move out about a cm or two before they will rotate. The knobs have two small divots in them that are normally horizontal when they are locked in place as normal. When you pull and rotate the knobs, the divots will align vertically. In your photos, they appear to already be rotated.

James, either something is wrong with tour car, or you aren't understanding the process. These knobs can be quite stiff to pull out, and that might take two hands. But once you get them pulled out a few CMs, you should then be able to rotate them 1/4 turn where they lock in place, in the pulled-put position. If you can't pull them out, then maybe they are just frozen and you need some help or even fashion something as a lever to get better lift. If you c an pull them out, but they won't rotate, then maybe they aren't pulled out quite far enough. Also, have you tried both? There is one on the right side, too.
