2009 CLK550 Coupe
Model year 2005

i was told that my 2005 clk is the "early" model because the date of manufacture was 06/04. my question is this:
Were there any changes to this model the following year? Any upgrades to the car if it were manufactured "during" 2005 as compared to 2004?

MY2005 production began in May of 2004. So yes, a June 2004 build would be an "early MY2005". MBZ does sometimes make mid-year changes, but it's usually related to correcting problems, for example, in MY2007, they discovered the "balance shaft" failure, so that was corrected mid-build.

That's interesting. Thanks for the reply. I wonder what bugs they fixed mid year 2005 on the w209. My clk has been pretty reliable.
