CLS 63 S AMG
Looks AWESOME!!! You have exceptional taste in cars, colors and wheel choices (see my sig... har, har!)
Maybe you can help answer some questions I have, please read on.
I just upgraded my 2 pc. Mono VI's from 18"to 19" (authentic Brabus, of course). They had come off an E-55 and had 10mm spacers for the rear wheels and had F:245/35's and R:275/30's. I took the spacers off and mounted them straight on. The tires are a little big but they are at less than 50% tread so they fit but rub just a tiny bit when I crank the steering wheel far left or right; the rear ones fit fine.
I'll be buying new tires soon; considering I removed the spacers, what tire size should I go with? Is it essential to put the spacers on there and if so, won't the wheels stick out past the fenderwell?
So do I really need the spacers? Do they make a difference as far as handling goes?
Did you lower the car yourself, local mechanic or stealership? How much did it set you off? (if you don't mind me asking)
BTW, I am selling my old 18" mono VI's if y anyone is interested.

The spacers don't do much for handling and are mainly there to clear the brake pads/calipers and fill out the wheel well. I am running a 10mm spacer in front and 16mm spacer in rear. The tire sizes for the CLK are as follows:
FRONT: 235/35/19
REAR: 265/30/19
The car was lowered with Brabus Springs on AMG shocks and lowered at Brabus USA in Irvine, Ca. This also included rolling the fenders and alignment, of course.

I'm guilty of that too. Hey guys, this is "LINH" from Benzworld. Not sure if SoCalCLK remember me, I lowered your W208 in San Diego about 7 years ago.
