Stock xenon bulb upgrade
I want to change my stock xenon lights from 4300k to 6000k. I know we need 3 different bulbs for our cars. The D1s bulb, H7 (cornering light) and the parking light which are in LED form. I have already found the D1s and LED parking light. I just need the H7 bulb and I am having difficulties finding a bulb that works with the e coupe/convertible. Anyone know which H7 6000k bulbs will work?

The Retrofit source has the D1 bulbs you want. Osram D1S 35Watt. 66144CBI. As to the cornering lights I like the Phillips Ultimate White light Diamondvision. These are H7 bulbs that are the correct matched white light for the Xenarc D1S bulbs and because they are bulbs they will properly fade with the cornering lights function... the LEDs will not do this properly. (probably also throw an error) Make sure you get the genuine Phillips bulbs and not the knock-offs from China (you want the ones from Japan)

Search "D1S" in the webpage I linked. You can also search for H7 bulbs there. Also Hillcreative just posted some better quality bulbs. I will probably go with the ones he posted, and buy the LED parking light from the link I posted.

Barca93 thanks for posting the LED position LED link. I purchased them and tested them and they are much brighter and closer to the Xenon bulb color temperature. I haven't installed them yet but look forward to matching the color all the way around on my factory Bi-Xenon upgrade. Not sure about how to remove the stock LED board if you have any tips they would be appreciated.

Also anyone interested in purchasing the lights I posted... get them from this link. If you type in BLACK18 as a coupon code you get 18 percent off.

Do not buy from ebay! They are selling them for $170 dollars on ebay.. when they really only cost $65.

So I guess they don't match well with the stock bulbs. D1s is the main headlight bulb? Then what bulb is the h7?

In my opinon they would match better than stock with even the standard D1S bulb. Yes the D1s is the main headlight and the H7 is the cornering light, used mostly when turning with the Xenon adaptive headlights (the light turns in the direction you are turning the car)

Ah ha! The small yellow light that turn on right? When turning all the way left or right. Is the led one still as effective? Or less bright? How was the install on thoes card led looking things?

The light next to the main head light, that is Yellowish when stock is the LED chip light. The LED chip was quite hard to get installed as I was told by the professional who installed it.

Ok so I changed the three different set of lights. The D1S bulb, the cornering lights and the parking lights (which are chips)
The best D1S bulbs I have found and I am currently using are Osram Xenarc 6614 from the http://www.theretrofitsource.com/com...l#.Uzy1561dUhw
They come with a two year warranty as well from the retrofit source
The parking light I am using is from Ijdmtoy http://store.ijdmtoy.com/HID-Matchin...-class-s22.htm
and the last lights are the turning lights. I am using Philips diamon vision H7 http://www.powerbulbs.com/us/product...n-h7-twin-pack
Also note I had bought a pair of 6000k Philip D1S bulbs on ebay for 80 bucks but one of them stopped working in just two months of use. I switched over to the Osram and can say they are amazing. They produce a very white light and are extremely bright.
And the parking lights from JDM toy match some what but are a bit more blue than the Osram lights. In my opinion I prefer it to look blueish white than the stock yellowish glow they have.

The Osram 66144 CBI bulbs will change color just a little more to the blue side as they break-in. I have the same setup and the whole system works very well together.

Ok cool. I have noticed them become a bit more blue than the first days few days I had them installed. Hopefully they will shine even more blue in the future!

Man the chip light is brutal, I managed to get the plug off one but couldn't figure out how to remove the chip from the headlight. Was scared to break something, then gave up.
