Audio 20 problem

Hi All,

I currently own an e class coupe 2011. This car has Audio 20 to play music etc. Suddenly my cars cd player has stop working so i took the car to a Mercedes dealer here in Cyprus. They were unable to fix it and they suggest me to order a new one which cost 1000 euros. As you understand this is not an option for me since it is very expensive so i decided to do some research and try to find what cause the problem. After some research i found out how to enter to engineering menu. From engineering menu i discover that in deck firmware information menu connected DECK firmware is unknown. I have also included a screen capture below. Can you please advise me on how i can solve this problem? Do i need to re install the software?? In addition to that i also clicked on the version up button and it return with an error code 2202. Please check screenshot attached.

Thank you in advance,
Louis

If the DVD deck has failed that's exactly the kind of message you would receive.

The same thing happened to me. Cant able to eject the CD. If I select the CD then the system will switch off by itself. Any way to solve this issue?
