Considering 2013 E550 Cab.

I have a lead on a 2013 E550 Cabriolet. Mileage is just under 6,000 and price is just about 54,000. I'm interested in your opinions:

1. Sound like a good deal?
2. Anything to watch out for on this model or this model year?
3. It's not at a Mercedes dealership. Should I sweat that?

I guess my biggest concern would be that it has low mileage cause it sat in the shop the whole time so the guy took it to an Audio dealership and bought an S5 instead. Not say that is what happened, but...

THANKS

Well $54k is right what KBB puts at middle of fair market value range from dealer so its not a bad deal. I am not aware of anything specific to watch out for, maybe warped front rotors. Take a test drive and be very attentive to brake pedal and steering wheel pulses under light and heavy braking. Also, the car still has plenty of factory warranty left so I wouldn't sweat it at all. Its an awesome car.

Thanks Jeff. Picked it up today. Original list was $78k, and got it for 51k with 5900 miles. I'm pleased. It HAULS A-S!

Big Congrats! That's a great deal! Indeed, the biggest problem with the car is that it is under-shoed (lack of traction on the rears with the 255s). 275s/285s would make a huge difference. I would go a little wider on the front too to help with cornering grip.
