124 Steering wheel....124.066

I'm trying to make a 94 E320 CVT as nice as can be. But the steering wheel is worn, and I'm having a tough time finding a replacement. I would buy one of those super nice ones from Europe with the thick rim and thumb grips, but I'd like to keep it as original as possible.
In the alternative, I cannot seem to find anyone who can refurb or rebuild one to just like new. Appreciate any help you guys can give...thanks.

There are many good, used ones on eBay. Just Google "W124 Steering Wheel" and you would have lots to choose from.

Unfortunately, no....

There are not. There are several that look like they might be it, but are not. The 94-95 US car uses a particular part number and most of the others will not fit, or are the wrong shape. Also, most of the others on Ebay , if you will look closely, are not in great shape. This car is going to be near concours and a rough wheel will just bring it down....

Mercedes steering wheels are made of special material with very durable surface and a very flexible under-layer that will last many years. However, once the surface became defaced, the deterioration process cannot be reversed, and it is unlikely that there is anyone able to re-manufacture it without losing the original flavour which you wish to preserve. How unique is the US version? Many eBay listings are from the US; it just takes time to find a match and a really good one.

94 E320 Coupe
Is it torn? If not it can be restored to like new pretty easily.
