hey guys, i have a 2001 e320 with stock halogen lights. the other day someone backed up into me, cracking my lights. was i mad, yeah.... but then.... i took it to several different body shops to get quoted ( light scratches on bumper also) got quoted from $1200- 2000. surprsingly, mercedes dealership was the cheapest. now, heres my question..... i contacted steve from mbenznl.org about upgrading my lights, he says he can get me the xenon mb brand lights shipped to me in dallas, texas for $1250. anyone have experience with these lights? he says no need to reprogram car. sounds good, but would like to hear from you guys....sound like a good deal?

could be wrong....but i didn't think the MB issued lights were clear lens
projector design. is that what you're looking for....or were you okay
with the fluted, reflector design?
