Painted my calipers
I painted my calipers red... take a look. I also painted the hub and the vented area around the edge/between the discs. Might be a bit too much red. Still trying to decide if I like it or if I want to paint the hub something else, like graphite metallic. Hmm.
I do LOVE the red calipers. I thought about going with something like graphite metallic instead of red but thought the wheels needed to be punched up a bit more than that. I bought some copper/gold paint for the hubs and around the edge of the disc (I've seen some rotors that were goldish color) but it ended up looking like crap/rust.

The caliper looks nice i dont know about the rotor tho. I painted my 300E calipers silver when i was in high school with high temp paint. I would be nice to do my 430 but i dont wany to be showing off my stock calipers. I wish i could come across a used set of E55 Calipers!!!!!!

As far as painting stock, I figure might as well make what I've got look as nice as possible. But I am kinda stuck trying to decide if I want to tone down the red, at least on the hubs/rotors.
I have one side with just the caliper painted and the other with all of it as shown in the pics. I guess that I'm leaning towards redoing at least the hub with graphite metallic. Or I guess I could do the side that isn't complete that way and then compare.
But once I painted the calipers, I just had to do SOMETHING to the hubs and rotors as they look like crap. I'm also going to paint the dust guards on the back as they are looking a bit ragged.

I got some "wheel paint" in a dark graphite metallic and painted the rear caliper and rotor on the drivers side. The paint really looks amazing -- doesn't really show in the photos very well. It went on quickly with great coverage. I think that I'll just leave the back this way (no red) since everything is a bit more wimpy in the rear. I'll probably go back and paint the front hubs with this paint too.
Can anyone tell if my calipers are missing anything? Is there supposed to be a plate over the middle on the side/back? Also, I didn't see a wire going into my brake pads like on the passenger side and on both front wheels. Hmmmm. Please let me know if you see anything unusual here.

More caliper pics -- need input!
OK, so I have 4 different wheel treatments on my car right now and need so standardize them. What does everyone think?
Here's what I've got
Front-Driver: Red all over the place
Front-Passenger: Red on calipers only
Rear-Driver: Graphite metallic on everything
Rear-Passenger: Nothing yet (see pic for raw caliper condition)
So, I think that I'm going to paint all the hubs and rotors with the graphite metallic paint, and also the rear calipers. I'll only have the front calipers in the red. QUESTION: will it look odd to have only the bigger front brakes red, or does that seem OK since they are the meaty ones? Should I do the back calipers in red too or is it OK to leave them in the graphite metallic only?

I painted mine silver all the way around. Including slotted rotors and ss brake lines, and DFW Dude's white badge.
8.5x19 front. 10x19 rear, on NZO Corsas.
I have also lowered the car with Eibachs, but the pics are on my other laptop.

Just the springs.
But I didn't change the pads. May do that when/if I change the shocks.
I like your rims too, your car is very nice overall.

Although I like the OEM ride of my W210 - or I should say my wife does -I've thought about dropping it a bit. What's the ride quality with the Eibachs compared with OEM, and I didn't check yours but what size tire are you running other than the stock? I.e., a shorter sidewall?

Kumho Ecsta. 245/35/19 and 275/30/19
Frankly, I can't tell the difference with the tires. After lowering I got a slightly stiffer ride but nothing to worry about (in fact I think its just my imagination), and the over-all ride quality is improved.
I'm a fairly consevative guy and I like it. The 20's in the pic above look nice but just too much for my taste.
