Tires/Wheels combo question '99 E320 wagon RWD

Sorry to bother you with this, but I have a good deal coming and I am wondering if it would/could be used.

17" rims
Front 47 offset 225/45/17
Rear 58 offset 245/40/17

My car is a base 1999 E320 wagon RWD for now. It will have a M113k swap done as soon as time and money allow it.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts, info on this

I think you'll have issues hitting the droop arm with that offset...at least on the facelift sedan you would.

The stock for a w210 E430 is 7.5" rim with ET37.

I have CLK500 calipers up front and my stock wheels fit. Now my Monoblocks don't fit unless I use a spacer.

If I understand offset right...you measure from the middle of the rim.

At the moment, AMG fronts are 8" ET31. Adding 5mm spacer will make the ET26.

ANYWAY, looks like your getting 7-8" rims so offset needs to be about 31-37 (depending on rim width)...you'll need spacers to clear your suspension components.

Anyone can correct me since this is an issue I'm running into as well!

I'll double check the offset on the current rims I am getting but ohlord already got back to me on PM and confirmed I'd need spacers for such an offset.

I wouldn't bother with staggered setup on a '99 wagon, but these are coming off a 2013 C class, super nice with brand new tires and I'm planning on doing an E55/S55 powertrain swap in the next year or so. Figured I'd get the ball rolling with the wheels.

Not a douche over here, but I need to put new tires on the wagon, only reason why I am really considering buying this setup. It's mint, brand new take offs.

Hey man, at least you're trying different things! I don't like the modern wheels much BUT I'll wait and see your combo.

V6 -> V8 wagon will take some work. I just did a 4.3 to 5.5 and it was simple because of no electronic fiddling.

Keep us all posted!
