Red light to the left of steering wheel
There is a red light to the left of the steering wheel, about 0,5 cm in diameter. The car is a 1998 W210 200E sedan. I have tried to search on it online but i haven't found anything! I could take a picture of if it helps!

This is not MB light or LED.
At least not on models I know in US and Europe.
Judging from lights leveling you are not in US, are you?
Do you have aftermarket security system? Webasto, fuel conversion?
Is the light coming on at certain conditions?
Frankly it looks like something just pressed into vinyl

You might find it faster on Swedish or European forum.
Another tough - looks like you have manual transmission.
Could it be recommended gear change indicator?

Yes there is a meaning for that----it means that when you drive over 55mph the red light comes on---additionally do you notice the glove box come open when the light comes on??

I read a comment that Asian W210 models do have speed warning light, but they could program it somehow and the light was a dot on speedometer.
I don't see dot on your speedometer, so maybe that is rare option how they did it on your car?
Would be good to get your hands on manual.

Wow that's amazing because I read a comment that Bosnian W210 models also do have speed warning light, but they could program it somehow and the little red light was a dot on the instrument cluster.
I don't see dot on your IC,so maybe that was an option years ago how they did it on your car is a good question.
Would be good to get your hand on a owners manual---do you read slavic or polish that is where I would start!!
PS: that is good that your glove box does not open, that would be anoying---has the bulb burnt out yet??
