Lint Free Cloth Recommendation for Transmission Service
Hello All,
Where is a good place to buy lint free cloths for cleaning the tranny pan, and wiping the dipstick? Also, who has used Valvoline MaxLife ATF with good results? Any other info worth noting when doing this service? Thanks!!

Out Of Control!!
Simply go into any auto supply store and ask for lint free rags or by brand--Kimberley Clark lint free rags!!
Regarding fluid---all will work as long as the fluid meets specs
Regarding the job---be patient and only put back the amount of fluid that is specified for your 722.6xx.Watch closely how you put the tranny connector back(use a mirror) and do not over torque.

Other option is just use quality towel and blow the pan with compressed air.
There are several members that drive 5-sp on Valvoline ATF and you find good reviews on forums.
Still Valvoline does not have MB specifications.

What car are you going to use the fluid in. Valvoline has max life that meets NAG1 spec which is Chrysler's spec for the 5 speed. Valvoline also has an import atf that says it meets MB's 236.10 spec for the 5 speed. I am using the later in my '97 E class.
