TPMS error every 5 minutes of driving: my resolution
So I have had the TPMS error that says:
Tire pres. monitor Display malfunction
I have had this error for as long as I have had the car. I had Les Schwab verify that the sending units were all working and they were so I gave up and bought new wheels and didn't have them install the sensors. So for the last few months I have had to clear the screen of the TPMS error every 5 minutes of driving. I finally found some diagrams and disconnected the whole module. (of course I can't legally recommend this) I have included the picture to show what I disconnected. My car is an 04 E55
So now the Error comes on just at the start of the car and it is listed as a malfunction, but not every 5 minutes
First pic is in the trunk left side below the DVD Navigation module
2nd pic is the error I am glad is gone
