Rear camber adjustment W211 2009 E320

Hi I just had the front camber changed. From the WIS has the adjust as +/- 0.4 degrees. But it can actually adjust more. Mine changed +0.7 degrees. Both are at -0.8 degrees now. Hopefully that will take care of the excessive inner tire edge wear.

Although the rear camber is said to be non-adjustable, is there some play in the control arm to allow for some adjustment or a reasonalbe inexpensive rear camber kit that will not significantly weaken the rear end?

Thanks,
Dave

Yes rear is not adjustable, only Toe. Same with front. For front you can purchase one position offset bolts...

But we saw the need on such performance vehicles to provide precise, full adjustability. Both Camber and Caster for the front and with twice that of the offset bolts.

For the rear also precise Camber and with additional Toe to compensate for the new Camber facility.

Allowing 1968 through to 2014 Mercedes models to be returned to factory specs after altering height, fitting wide profile tires and fast (single wrench) ongoing adjustment capability for curb knock damage. Resolving premature inner edge tire wear, steering pull, improving traction along with better directional control and steering response.

With K-MAC no special tools are required.

Important also is that the K-MAC patented design adjusts the lower arms inwards to reduce inner edge tire wear and are elastomer bushed, maintenance free for virtual lifetime usage.

Unlike the alternative - "rear suspension spherical rod end link arms". This rigid design means not only the paper thin Teflon/PTFE lining soon pounds out (allowing metal to metal contact). But top of tire is adjusted outwards! Reducing all important outer fender clearance.

If you reduce the Toe in the rear to almost neutral, you'll have less inner tire wear also.

I'd endorse K-Mac any time; so much control/adjustment available. I had everything professionally installed of course. Nothing out there matches K-Mac bushings; it was money worth spent. A++++
