They're not foldable.

What is your model year? My mirrors on my 2007 E350 fold. The mirrors on my wife's 2006 E350 do not.

My 2007 E350 does not.

Guessing it was an option. (Not sure why my P2 car does not have them)

A bit off topic, (pet peeve alert) but why do people say "I am sure" when they really mean. "I think" or more exactly "I really don't know"??

"I think" the ones like on the BMW fold automatically when you turn the car off.

If you have a mirror control that looks like this...

then you have power folding mirrors. Since you said they can fold, I'm assuming you've already folded them manual which isn't possible if power folding. You can get the internals to convert your mirrors to power fold, but you'll also need the mirror switch above.

Part #

Hope that helps.

P.S. Oem motor internal assemblies can be an upwards of $900 USD for a pair. The switch can be had for $150 USD.
