Ive lurked around here for a while, and just recently picked up my first Mercedes. Its a 2009 E550 4matic P2 package. Im absolutely in love with this car. Bought it at 69K miles. Has a near perfect maintenance record, and I had the transfer case and front/rear diff fluid changed when I bought it.

Anyways, onto the pictures. Just got done doing a full detail and paint correction on the car. Lets just say 5 years of scratches and hazing does not come out over night. Glad thats over with, and now I can just maintain it!!

I actually didn't take any but wish I would have! The hood actually required wet sanding to get the scratches out. Just finished doing that last night and buffed it out at 3am this morning .

hahaha well worth it I can see! imo black is one of the hardest color to maintain. definitely a great job!

I will say that I have never spent as much time on a car as I have this Mercedes. Benz cars have super hard clear coat, so it takes a while with a strong cutting compound to get the deeper scratches out. Heck, mines still not perfect. I need to redo a few spots on it and spend some more time.

BUT, once its done, it makes it very simple to keep proper care of it, because you dont want to have to do it all over again on a monthly basis.
