How hard or is it possible to change the wood color in a E500?

Some parts are easier than others. It will definitely be time consuming because you will have to remove the armrest and the doors. An alternative to swapping out all the pieces would be wrapping them. This can be done without removing any parts so it may be easier.

You can also wrap the trim pieces. I did my E500 with brushed aluminum wrap with excellent results.
