CD changer
Hey guys how's it going I have a quick question for you guys I have. 2009 E350 best car I have owned , and I was wondering since the other models have the cd changer in the dash with the lifting door, Minde doesn't have that, would I be able to install it but converting the cd changer into just a storage compartment. Thanks guys

let me try to understand what OP is trying to say.
as an '09 model you dont have the "hidden cd changer" behind the ac control. now you want to try to install the "openning door" but instead of putting the cd chnager you want it as just a storage. did I get you right?
now if thats right. ive seen a guy a long time ago that replaced the existing cd changer into a storage. but he has that openning door from the get go. you on the other hand, dont. its gonna be too much work and too much money for soooo little gain. use the center console, globe box and door pockets as storage instead.

In the ebay pic I see 2 connectors, I'm guessing one is for the buttons on the cover and the other to power the motor, so you'll have to swap the face cover, assuming its possible.. Go ahead and make a diy in the way.
