i bought a 2007 used but its- still well under warranty-
what can i do as i didnt purchase new?

I believe you are still covered by lemon law until the original manufacturers warranty runs out.

The mixture or hot and cold is not related to this

issue.

I had this repaired by the dealer and they replaced the transmission control unit, under warranty. Somewhere in this thread is the service bulleten number and possibly a link.

I took my '07 E350 sport in to the dealer Monday for the same transmission downshifting problem. My car has been there since Monday. Those who have taken their cars to the dealer for this problem how many days did it take? Also, what was the labor cost?
