I have the continental pro contacts in 245/40/18. So far I have about three tire repairs due to picking up nails and one blow out due to a sidewall failure. Luckily, I had gotten the road hazard warranty from discount tire/americas tire when I first got the car. They took care of me every time I bought the car in.

Thats what I have on my sons 328i. We've been very happy with the tires but that kid picks up more nails than a magnet.

Does anyone have recommendations for an alternate all season tire for this vehicle besides the OEM Pirellis?

Please advise,

Thanks

The big tire bubble in the sidewall, Mitch. That tire is toast.

it happened to me 6 times in 1 and a half year, its **** since tires are not that cheap.

So I went from 19in to 18in and it still happens.. so I concluded that the sporty models are alot stiffer and I will not put 17 or 16 wheels to avoid the issue.

so I began my journey of cruising slow and it works on 19 and 18s, avoid messed up road, pot holes...etc
