2016 price increases
FYI:
Just got the new 2016 E Class order guide, P1 is $850 more, for what? Keyless Go is $90 less everything else is the same. They even removed sun shades from the P1 and its a extra $300. Will have to find a 2015 now for sure.

German car makes have been known for decades to have some of highest optional equipment prices. Many as individual items so prices can be increased even more.

Partially due to inflation, but main reason is that MB was number one selling luxury make in 2014 and "E" Class is one of their "best" lines. Also, US has recovered from Great Recession and people are purchasing more expensive and more highly equipped cars. Returning to a sellers market.

Eesh.. they added folding seats + power folding mirrors in 2015...and we still had the sun shade included.
Very happy with my 15 and how the packages/options were available. Very few unwanted items came with my spec.
