2015 E400 Review
I have a 2015 E400 Sport edition that I purchased 6 weeks ago so I thought I would offer my thoughts.
Options:
Sport Steering Wheel
Panorama Roof
Black Roof Liner
Rear Deck Spoiler
Comfort Box
Lighting package
Keyless Go package
Parking Assist (Parktronic)
Distronic Plus (with Steering assist)
Harmon Karden stereo (technically standard feature but for some reason most/many E400 don't have it)
I previously owned a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland edition with a V8 Hemi.
Overall I am very happy with the car's performance. It's quick, the turbo works flawlessly and the steering and brakes are very responsive. The fit and finish is very nice, so far no issues. I love having fewer trips to the gas station. I find the engine to be very quiet.
The Comand System has taken so getting used too. I liked the interface better on my Jeep which was easier to navigate radio bands and stations easier with fewer clicks. Also the Navigation system requires several more steps to successfully input a destination. I need to start using voice commands perhaps that will help.
I wish I had a heated steering wheel again and I miss the storage capacity of the Jeep (storage accessible from the driver's seat for glasses and things you want to keep handy).
I do like the 360 view on the backup camera.
Nits:
I wish the backup camera worked while the Comand (radio) system was off.
I'm not a fan of the gear selector being on the column.
The lane assist can be annoying when traveling or purposely crossing a solid line - you'd be surprised how often you do this on curvy roads or in parking lots or on ramps etc.
The only way to get music onto the Music Register is from a CD. It won't download files from a USB or smart phone.

2014 MB E350 Luxury
Congratulations, nice car! As a former owner of 2 Grand Cherokees and 1 Explorer, my 2014 E350 was a very nice change. The lane marker warning can be a nuisance, so I usually flick the blinker to avoid the warning. A heated steering wheel was a must for winter, so it made it worthwhile for me to order a build since only 1 with a heated steering wheel was available in the whole Midwest when I made the move to MB. Weird. Enjoy!

Hi, kgear, and welcome to The Club. I, too, have a 2015 E400 - I've had mine since last august. Mine is equipped much like yours, but without the Distronic, and I do have the heated steering wheel.
My previous car was a 2001 Lexus LS430, which I bought new and drove nearly 140K miles. What a change the E400 is from that.
Just wait a while until you get used to how to optimize the turbo's. That makes the V6 feel much like a larger V8 in city and suburban freeway traffic. Of course, once you're moving at highway speeds, the acceleration may not be up with the V8 E550's and such, but the E400 is a lot of fun.
The one negative I've noted is that with the version of the sport suspension shipped on the E400, the car is more harsh than my old LS, and I suspect that this will eventually result in miscellaneous clicky noises and creaky noises in the cabin.
I also note that even with the Harmon Karden stereo, it lacks the "punch" of the Mark Levinson system I had in the Lexus.
Still, a great car. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. I don't think there are very many E400's out there, so we may be lonely talking about them.

Having had a 2012 W204 C63 I like the E400 as it is nice and quiet and whilst it does lack the acceleration of the C63 it has enough get up and go for my driving. I find it very comfortable and easy to drive. All in all a good car that is relatively trouble free.

2014 Merc E-350 4 Matic
I have Jeep with the toys. I've just bought an e-350 with toys. Look forward to seeing how they compare. E-350 comes this week. Like the Merc (2014), I do think though the Jeep tech (also a 2014) is ahead of the same vintage merc in some departments, especially the command. The uConnect on the jeep is outstanding. Just my 0.02.
