I know it's not a 212 but...
I came across this video of the 1st 1954 300 SL Coupe (Gullwing) sold in the US to racing legend Briggs Cunningham.


I enjoyed the video and thought you would also.

2012 E350 4Matic, 2011 335i; 2006 C230 (sold 4 yrs ago)
My local dealer had one on the showroom floor for awhile a few years ago. I know the owner normally keeps it with his private collection and moves it in and out of the showroom every so often
