I just had a TMP valve stem tip crack on me (checked it after hitting a canyon,,, I mean pot-hole). Anyone know if they are covered under the wheel and tire warranty?

I was told the TPMS was covered under my CPO. Not sure how it works in a non CPO warranty situation.

You are probably right, but that is for a failure, this didn't just stop working it hit a road hazard. I had an appointment anyway for my blind spot system not working so I asked about it. The sensors for the blind spot system that died are covered by CPO and they are ordering the parts. The TPMs are not covered. He quoted me $145 for the sensor and 0.5 hrs labor to put it in. Often, I will pay just for the convenience, but this one offended me a bit so I told them I would take care of it myself. Just ordered a new OEM sensor and hardware for $26. Maybe I am a little sensitive, but 400% markup is reaching into the "we think you are stupid" category IMO.

wow, you got a good price on the sensor. I thought they were $100. Nice job
