Command Knob Stopped Working Only When Rotated
We have a 2010 E350 Sedan. The Command knob no longer does anything when rotated right or left. All of the functions still work, such as using the nav, phone, radio, etc., but instead of being able to scroll through phone contacts, for example, by turning the knob, we now have to slide the knob to the right or left, which only moves things in small steps. Might this be a software problem or something else?
If anyone here has any info on this problem and what might be needed to fix it, I would very much appreciate hearing about it.

I had mine replaced by my dealer which includes a 12 month warranty on parts and labor. . Cost about 500.00 including parts and labor. Dealer also gave me a new Mercedes to drive for the day.
