2010 E350 Command Display turns GREEN
The command display flickered to the color green and now it has completely change to green. When the back up camera is engaged the screen is fuzzy and unclear. I have searched this sites, Googled, and YouTube and cannot find anyone with the same problem. I hope is not the display going bad.

A "green screen" usually means the display is not getting any video information. Could be the Comand electronics are bad or as simple as a bad connection. In any case this is not good.

thanks Carolina Bluetec. I had a Mercedes tech look at it and I was there when her ran the diagnostic test to the display. no indicators of a bad display from what he could determine. he recommended to replace the cable that connects the display unit. he recommended we start there.
Am I on the right track?
As I mentioned I cannot find anyone out there with the same problem. I can't believe I am the only one with this problem.

I agree with replacing the cable. You have lost the yellow primary color of the display. If for the rest everything looks good, I would guess it is a bad cable or connection.

Unfortunately my 2010 E350 is over 4 years old and has 56,000 miles on her...I don't believe is under warranty. I'll have my technician change out the cable. I told me the cable is like a $60 and I am assuming 2 to 3 hours of labor. Hopefully that will fix everything.
I'll post again once I get it out of the shop.
Thank you all.

had the cable replaced
Took it in to replace the cable that connects the command unit to the display. unfortunately the green screen remains. the tech is not sure if the display needs to be replaced or the command unit. both parts are expensive now I am not sure which way to go.
