streaming bluetooth from iphone

Question streaming bluetooth from iphone
is it normal that when I choose streaming/bluetooth as audio
source , I have to connect to the phone first before streaming starts?

(even when the phone itself is already connected to the handsfree)

I have to do it every time after car was turned off, i am using External Authorization, not very convenient but at least it works
