Command update
I am trying to find an info about newest Command update for 2010 E350. I'm wondering does it work for iPhone 6, and does it enable Bluetooth audio streaming.
I found a thread from about month ago saying that it does work, but I can't get in touch with this person and my dealer is saying that it's not backward compatible and will not work.
Any help is appreciated.

Hey if you're trying to get Bluetooth audio you can do it by getting the command to enter engineering mode and activate through the menu.
I'm on mobile so can't link you to the thread but it's under the e350 hacks thread. Got it to work great with my iPhone 6.

Enable through engineering menu, then go to the dealer stating you are having issues with the bluetooth audio cutting in and out and that you are also having issues with your phone when connected through bluetooth. Request they update the command software,( your cost) then you will have bluetooth audio listing as an option under "Audio" (like MY2011) and later.
Some dealers will tell you it is not possible but clearly it is, many have had success.

Yeah that should be the exact system like 2013.
I did enable it through engineering menu and after I restarted the system it showed up under audio.
However, I could get it paired only either as a Bluetooth audio or Bluetooth phone, but never both at the same time. Like there was some kind of conflict.
Maybe I didn't do something right???

I don't think the map update affects anything other than maps and POI's under NAV and the song title database for CDs.
There is another thread on here where a MB tech updated his comand to the last firmware using his system at work. Not sure if he gave all the details, but you should search for that thread as it may provide details you could refer to when getting your dealer to do it. Of course, updating comand 4.0 doesn't mean you get the features of comand 4.5, but those who got the update do say it helped their BT connection.
