W212 E350 upgrades

So after seeing the negativity that I've seen on this forum I decided not to post questions and just do them. So first upgrade is the single stage manifold runner with rail and injectors from 09 SLK350 red stripe, 82mm throttle body elbow, Pipercorss filters, AMG air box for more ram air, AMG brake upgrade, Xpipe and other exhaust upgrades. so far just manifold and air box is completed. this is all on a 2011 E350 4Matic for those who want to know.

for anything that has negative comments i don't care about you're opinion so keep it to yourself

as for anyone that needs info or wants to know how to do anything that i have completed let me know. I will post pictures soon.

Just curious - what horsepower do you expect to have once you are done?

Have you thought of a ECU tune after all this? It might help you maximize power gains after all of your upgrades! Btw what rims are those?! They are STUNNING!

I will be getting a tune (anyone want to make a tune charitable donation )to make sure everything is working correctly. But just putting it in worked fine. I have three connections that aren't used with the new manifold but no CEL which is great. The rims don't actually fit so I need to roll them so I bought a professional roller the stick out a 3/4 or at least that's what the guy said. I will test fit with pictures soon.

The mod process is so much fun...practical? No, better performance than a higher spec model? Likely not... Satisfaction? Absolutely.

Not to be negative, but do some reading on the fender rolling. I read a few forums that referenced it and the one that sticks out was by a shop owner that rolled fenders all the time and it trashed his car. Something about the metal composition doesn't take well to it at all.

I would hate to see that part go sideways and derail your project.

Good luck!

Pamiboy, I know exactly what he's talking about. There are plenty on here that when you ask a question they dont answer the question but instead begin a diatribe on why you dont need to do what you want, or that its illegal, or why not just have the dealer do it "if you can afford the car you can afford the maintenance" attitude.

In for the installed pics, especially for those wheels/brake combo.

I second the fender rolling comments... I had my buddy look at mine and he refused to do it because he didn't want to screw it up. Said since the fenders aren't metal, he can't guarantee the paint won't warp or chip where it gets rolled. Good luck either way
