Recalls and Indie Shops
Does anyone know if indie shops get recall bulletins from MB? I'm thinking of going to an indie German specialist for service and was curious if they got that kind of info.

Recall work would be free from an authorized MB repair facility/dealer who would also have info from MB how to effect the repair or inspection and the parts to complete the recall. They could then sign off the recall as having been completed in the MB computer service record. Not sure why you would want recall work done anywhere else unless completely unavoidable.

Awesome. Thanks for the link. Yeah, for any recall/warranty work I have the dealership do it. I just wanted an information source where I can find out if there were any recalls, that link did just that. Thanks!
