Opinion of new rims?
Looking for opinions of my rim choice. Wanted a change from the factory 17" but couldn't find many aftermarket that that I liked and didn't want to go beyond 18" for the usual reasons.
I ended up with these in part to the machine finish and how it went with the bright work trim and the dark blue paint.
The interior is the Designo saddle upgrade and included a picture of this to show the unique combo.

I've been wanting this same color combo on an AMG GTS, such a nice rich brown. The wheels look great, however I have a set of 18 inch HRE's in a tinted brush clear finish that I'm currently selling, I used a 245/40 tire, and the wheels are in great condition, no scuff scrapes etc

That is beautiful - where did you find those rims? My wife has them on her E-classs and I need replacements!

I purchased them off of a local craigs list add. I likely paid more than I should have but not having to pay/mess with shipping sorta balanced things out.
You can find them on e-bay. Most are reproductions but there are also referb OEM on there as well.

Yes i believe they came off of a 2007-09 E550. They are staggered. I went with the larger tires that came off that year as well, as they filled out the rims. 245/40/18 and 265/35/18. They seemed to fit the lines and the dark blue better than anything else I looked at.
Yea the Designo interior is the main item that hooked me on this one. Didn't really need it, as I already had one too many cars, but couldn't let it get away. Makes all the other E's out there look rather ordinary.

love those wheels on a 211. who knew it would look this good on a 212? great choice mate!
