NEED HELP WITH DRIVETRAIN/TRANSMISSION/ELECTRICAL W212
Hello Guys,
Ive been having problems with my 2012 E350.
So the problems started with me just normally driving, I would drive and out of no where all of the lights on my cluster turn on and the message says, "Do not shift gears , see dealer"
At this point I cannot shift any gears I have to stop the car and turn it off for it to put it self in park. Once this lights up the gears are not highlighted so I think it doesnt think it is in drive. Sometimes I would disconnect the battery and connect it back and it would work but sometimes I have to wait a day or two.
Has anyone experienced this ever?
Please help.

I know you want a cheap simple answer, however there ain't one, except make sure you have the correct fluid level---after that its professional help with MB transmission diagnostics or else sell the car or keep turning the car on and off!!

Unfortunately yes.
So I went to every mechanic and electrical guy in town and they don't know either, I went to a buddy of mine that has a dealership based diagnostic tool, and that computer read about 60-70 fault codes. But this only happens when the lights on the cluster all turn on other than that no fault codes.
Im only scared that when I go to the dealer, they're gonna tell me I have to fix everything.

Your best bet is keep going back to your buddy that tells you everything is fine----this way it wont cost you any money and you won't be scared---Wow I wish I had a friend like that does he ever travel to Florida----if he does he can just drive by and tell me my car runs fine!!

Was this car ever in a flood or on a salvage title?

Yes it has a salvage title, I bought it off the auction and fixed it, I replaced the right side suspension, wheel, tire, i replaced the headlights, bumper, and subframe. But the problem didn't start until way later after I fixed it.
