Can't find my aux port
Hey Guys. I recently bought a 2010 e550 as my DD and for some reason I cannot find my aux port or cable. In my c-classes it was always in the glovebox and I've searched all the threads but I can't seem to find the answer.
The real thing I'm looking to do is play audio from my phone over the speakers. Not sure if the 10's had Bluetooth capabilities yet. I even checked the engineering screen to see if it was something I could enable.

I do not use it very frequently though as I use my phone frequently and it would interrupt/I'd have to restart what had been playing.
As for the Aux port, do you see a plug in the top/front/drivers side of the passenger glovebox? There is a Mercedes adapter that plug into it and has both an iPod connector and an aux pigtail (headphone jack style). If I recall the Mercedes plug is about an .25"x1" (haven't had it off in a while). You can control an iPod through command but if it has a lightning adapter, you apparently need a firmware update to get the system to charge it while it's plugged in (I haven't do it yet).
Good luck! Welcome to the w212!

How do I get to the hidden menu? I recently switched to E class from C class & hadn't been able to get into it.

Thanks Belarus. I was able to get to the menu, but there was no HU setting option like post #21 mentioned. I'll keep looking for a fix though.
