New to me '11 G550
I've been looking for a G550 for a couple months and finally found one @ a local dealership in MA. Its a 2011 with only 15K miles and CPO'ed in case bad things happen.
So far I've added G63 wheels and mufflers. And added LED to the headlight covers. I did a bit of research and decided to cut the section of the bullbar so that I didn't have to take off the entire bullbar and deal with the holes in the bumper. So out came the dremel and off came the headlight section of the bar! I bought plastic caps (friction plugs) to put at the end of the bars to clean it up a bit.
So far I love the car and the sitting position being so high! My kids love the "stadium seating" in the back as well! Great car so far!!
Added some pics but still too cold to do a real carwash!!!!

Sorry. I meant the headlight covers ( led bars underneath the headlights ). Never thought about the city lights though if you think the LEDs are too white, I'm sure you can get a regular bulb that is a bit whiter that might match the xenons better.

Also on the exhaust - I did the tips as well... While the stock g550 has a great rumble - does is change much to add in the amg exhaust? Or better to get a aftermarket altogether? Having a hard time finding a good aftermarket exhaust - any suggestions are welcomed as I am new to the g550 (2011) as well...

I didn't consider getting an aftermarket exhaust. I figure since the car still has years left on the warrantee, I would leave it as stock as possible. With that, the difference with the G63 mufflers can only really be heard at WOT when you gun it. Normal driving around it has a little bit of a deeper tone, but at WOT it sounds way different (in a good way)

Nice taste in mods!!! ha!! Love the grille as well. Was looking at getting the same G63 grille. Did you go aftermarket or OEM? I see 55Tech with some but wonder how good the fit is.....

I have all OEM Parts at the best prices I could find. Some of these vendors are charging List/Retail Prices. $1000 for a G63 Grille...
PM me if you want links and prices...
