I'll be back with a bunch of high quality pictures and maybe a video later on. Cant seem to find the usb cable to my digi cam atm.
You nailed it Mushroom...

I just requested from the Administrator an Official GL Picture Thread and hopefully if set up we can discourage anything other than pictures (and videos) be posted in the thread.

If I might suggest, if NJ's "Official Picture Thread" becomes a reality, resize your pics to a max of 800x600 pixels (lowest common size) so we can see them full size on the screen rather than having to scroll across to catch the full image.

Those that have previously posted pictures, do so again on this [hopefully] new sticky so we can have a catalogue of sorts of great GL pictures!

Sorry to be OT, NJ. Please forgive me

On to cup holders, have you ever seen a "Big Gulp" cup? You need those big holders

Jokes aside, I read somewhere that cup holders were a recent concession to american "tastes" made by MB and BMW. Seems like in the rest of the world people use their cars to get from point A to B. While in US we like to live in our car. Honest anecdote - kid's friend's mom got an Odessey van and proudly quizzed us on how many cupholders it had. A mind boggling 16 or so. I did ask her when was the last time she had that many cups in her car, at the same time.

couple more from today

Those are the 18" wheels that come w/ the off road package. I also included shots of the front and rear skid plates and you can see the tow hook and the exhaust system in the shots.

The color is Black on Black. Thanks to the info found here, the bumper plate install was painless.

The wheels are 22" Antera.

Here's a recent picture with the "Large" MB Cargo box test fitted. I have the OEM wheels back on because I am going to be taking her cross country (NJ to CA) for a major road trip . I plan to tow a 5X10 utility trailer as well.

Regards,
~Mel

If you are going to be in/by LA, give me a shout. Be happy to help, if you need anything. Or else will buy you a drink since you will be thirsty after that long drive

Plenty and depends on what your budget is. For example, both of the Brabus showrooms are around here. PM me if you have any specific needs and I will do my best to help.

GL450 (Alabaster White/Black Interior)
My apologies in advance. This is the first time I am posting pictures on the internet but will give it my best shot. Here are some pictures of my almost one month old GL450 (Alabaster White/Black Interior, Premium Package, Lighting Package, Sunroof Package, Chrome Package, Apperance Package, Trailer Hitch, Back-Up Camera, I-Pod Integration, and maybe some other things that I can't remember right now). I am posting a picture of the all season mats for those that are considering them, a picture of the chrome door handle inserts for NevadaJack, and a picture of the bumper plate (thank you again to L8Apex) and the WeatherTech cargo liner. Hope this works...........

Great looking GL Jeff...thanks for that nice shot of the door handle. Glad I decided to add them. Still don't know if dealer can mount the bumper chrome piece but will call for help if I do it myself...:-)
