Smoky Exhaust at Startup
I know this has been discussed before, but can't remember the technical explanation why. Our GL450 has about 1,500 miles on it and when we start up for the first time, or when it hasn't been used for a couple days, there is a brief smoke puff.
Sometimes worse than others, and the typical exhaust smell is strong. Please refresh my memory on this. Our last GL did this also, but not as much. Although it had an enormous 11,000 miles when we traded it.
