Thinking about buying this 2010 GL550

I've contacted the dealer and am in the process of asking questions about it, etc.
I can't figure out what I'm missing. According to KBB, the asking price is 12k under what it's worth. I did the preliminary Carfax and it said there was one accident reported (hitting a stationary object) and damaged the front right which was repaired. I was going to have it 3rd part inspected and ask them to pay particular attention to that.
Is that enough for this price to be so low? Is the car missing options it should have?
Thanks for your help. This will be our first Mercedes so I want to make sure we get a good one.

Seems like a good price. The GL550 doesn't have too many additional options. I think rear seat entertainment is one option, not sure how many others there are in the 2010 model.
You might want to ask for the maintenance/repair records. Since it's a Mercedes dealer selling it they might have done all the repairs on it and can tell you if it's had any major mechanical issues.

Thanks guys. I'm definitely asking questions.. And I understand there aren't a lot of options on the 550, that it comes standard with a ton of options.
Which is why I don't understand how two 2010's with roughly the same mileage can be listed at such different prices.
This one in NYC is listed at 56k and Cargurus.com says it's worth 63.5k. But it has the same mileage as the one in CA which Cargurus.com says is worth 58k.
Why the 5k difference? (I actually like the NY interior better with the color and the rear entertainment).

Carfax accident history usually lowers the price for about 10%-15%, which is your case. I would not buy such an expensive vehicle after accident. You never know what was wrong. You get it with lower price and when the time comes to sell it or trade it in - you will have even more problem. There are good deals today if you looking for GL550, just take your time and wait for your chance.
BTW - the one you mentioned earlier in NYC - it's CPO, so even if you pay more - you actually protected for sometime. You still can negotiate the price to bring it lower.
